When these two hues combine, it’s just pure magic. It’s been such a trendy choice in 2017, so it only seemed fitting that I see the year-end out in style and pay an ode to such a powerful combination that exudes power and tenderness at the same time. 
Burgundy and blush are one my favorite color palettes for winter but also for any time of the year, especially in early spring and fall time. It’s not off-limits in the summer but I just have so many other “me colours” to choose from that these don’t always make the cut together – but individually, for sure. You can’t help but feel so elegant and regal in this colour combination. The contrasting palette is romantic, modern, soft yet powerful all at the same time. And the lippie – Anastasia Beverly Hills definitely delivered and it was such an easy pick to accompany this look. 
I find that during this time of the year, this colour combination is bold and rich and perfectly highlights the cold season. In a previous post, I shared why I fell in love with burgundy, but if you feel lazy about going to read that post, the gist of it is that it’s great colour to highlight that the temperatures have dropped some and instead of wearing black, this is a great option too. And with this look, it’s all about the balance and the richness of burgundy with the complement of the blush tone to create a perfect harmony.
