I woke up in a boho-chic kind of mood and as it happened to be the one day that it didn’t rain in Vancouver, I decided on wearing my flared denims and some colour. I like to think I am tall (being 5’7 and all, and then some when I put on my heels), so I like to make sure my pants, especially my flared denims always touch the floor. Personally, bootcut pants aren’t for me so I always make sure to go for the “tall” length because I like to compensate a little something for my heels. I’m quite leggy so it works!
The denim tuxedo element wasn’t planned at all – but it worked out really well. It was a grab and go situation in the morning. The contrast between the denims was balanced out by the cardigan and the light grey shirt.
The accessories to go along with the outfit were picked specifically for this look. The Fossil watch along with the Pandora friendship bracelet were simple again. I love my accessories and I feel naked without a watch so that is always a must.
Do you have a favourite pair of flared jeans? How do you dress them up … or down?
