You are probably sitting there wondering … country music? Really *Kevin Hart Voice*
Yes! I love me some country music and have loved country music for a while. Having grown up on some of the greats like Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton and Shania Twain, it’s a genre that has influenced some of the artists I listen to today. It is also a genre that has brought some of today’s most notable artists like Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt and Taylor Swift to the forefront. That being the case, there are a few artists within this genre that I would pay money to go see live and Keith Urban is one of them. As part of his ripCORD World Tour for his 10th studio album, his Vancouver date was one not to be missed. I’ve been a fan of Keith Urban for a few years now, and I only discovered him by mistake. You know that moment when you’re on YouTube listening to sad songs … this is how I discovered Keith. I was listening to one of those playlists and Tonight I Wanna Cry came on … and the rest is history.
At his show, I got to witness just how great of a performer – a country crooner and a badass guitar player he he. He played – to me – what seemed like the whole night, but a two hour set that was filled with many highs and guest appearances and then of course, the signed guitar he gave to one lucky fan.
Keith Urban is a stellar performer who knows how to deliver a show. His show was fantastic as I am sure all Keith Urban fans can attest to. But, what really got me emotional was the time he took to interact with fans – bringing them on stage and singing with them and to them. That was a really nice intimate touch inside Rogers Arena to witness. He was sincere and so humble and it was such a beautiful display. Would I recommend others to go see him? – YES! Is he worth the money? – YES!

If you have listened to it, what are your favourites? What are some of your all-time favourite Keith Urban songs?
