Where: The Commodore Ballroom
Her soulful sound and infectious laughter makes you want to continue to listen to her and have her tell you fun stories of life in London town!
Humble and graceful, Lianne La Havas is a firecracker who showed us – her audience – at The Commodore Ballroom her undeniable range and beautiful sound. Dressed in a cute velvet jacket and dark pants, she serenaded us to the point of submission. We wanted more! And she gave us more! After her set finished, she came back out for her encore and gave us more and we were a happy bunch!
Her album titled Blood is the perfect companion on a Sunday evening with a glass of wine and a crackling fireplace (fake or real). It is a superb mellow mix that I highly recommend to anyone who loves soothing sounds and wants to escape the hubbub of a crazy day and just relax. Her whole album is amazing and so is her older stuff too. Before her show, I hadn’t known who she was but one of my girlfriends who knows my musical palette highly recommended her to me and I am so glad she did!
Her voice is a combination of silk and gold and just pure perfection!
